Marston’s have been both a long-standing SAP payroll and HR customer of Zalaris.
Operations included 140,000-time records from 14,500 employees, pensioners and those on zero-hours contracts, processing 3,500 leave requests and up to 1,500 new hires and rehires a month.
Due to a change in the business, Marstons had just 10 months to separate its systems from the Carlsberg part of the business. Using this as an opportunity for improvement, Marston’s sought to transform payroll and HR onto Zalaris’ platform whilst removing its own data centre with more than 19 interfaces and moving premises.
