Managing time and attendance made easy
With the Time Management improvements, our goal is to help you manage your employees’ time and attendance in a more streamlined and user-friendly way. Let us take a closer look at the three key updates included in this release:
1. Improvements in Work Schedule Maintenance Application
Our Work Schedule Maintenance Application has received a much-needed overhaul, making it easier for you to create custom work schedules or make ad hoc changes to existing ones. We have introduced a new input control that checks employee hiring dates, preventing managers or administrators from adding employees to a schedule before their hiring date. Additionally, we have made significant user interface improvements that allow you to correct work schedule validity periods per employee after they are assigned to it.
2. Work location recording in Record Working Hours Application
With our new work location recording feature in Record Working Hours Application, you can easily track different working location practices within your company. This solution is activated per client request and offers attendance location recording and new dashboard tiles for employees, managers, and HRs to track the statistics of work location. End-users simply need to open the Record Working Hours application and select one of four standard location categories: Home office, Work office, Client office, or Business travel. The location will be saved along with recorded time, allowing you to monitor statistics on different working locations per selected scope.
3. Informative texts to attendance types
We understand that it can be confusing for employees to comprehend the different attendance types available in the Record Working Hours application. To assist with this, we have introduced Informative Texts to Attendance Types that allow you to display detailed explanations or specific rules for selected attendance types. Upon client request, we will maintain informative messages and display them in the Record Working Hours application in the PeopleHub portal. End-users can access the messages at the click of a button.
CO2-tracker in Zalaris Travel & Expense Solution
We have introduced a new feature on Zalaris Travel & Expense Solution called “CO2-tracker” which enables your business track indirect carbon emissions resulting from business travel. The feature allows you to monitor your CO2 emissions from flights, hotel stays, taxis, and personal vehicles. When selecting the expense type related to Flight or Hotel stay, additional input fields such as departure and arrival airports, cabin class, and travel dates will be required. After saving the travel report, a CO2 calculation will be performed and displayed on the final action screen.
Furthermore, the My Carbon Footprint App by Zalaris will now include reporting on business travel, providing accurate data to automate a CO2 footprint report for each business travel, which will increase awareness and influence the frequency and method of travel. It is to be noted that, this feature is only available for clients who use the CO2 tracker in the Travel & Expense Solution.
Enhanced portal design: Smarter search and easy favourites access
We are excited to announce some great new improvements to our portal design! Our search function has been upgraded and is now located at the top bar for easy access. You can still search for all your available applications by typing in a free text or selecting from the grouped application overview list. We have removed the previous search functions to make this the main entry point for application search.
Additionally, we have added a dedicated panel for favourites. To add an application to your favourites, simply right-click on the application tile and select “Add to favourites”. Now you can easily access all your favourite applications in one place. These improvements will make your portal experience even more efficient and enjoyable.
Helpdesk redefined
We are excited to launch Zalaris’ new Helpdesk Solution.
Our new Helpdesk has been designed with simplicity, user experience, and responsiveness in mind, and we are confident it will offer a better experience for you.
Our new Helpdesk offers all the same core functionalities as the old solution, but with added improvements like a draft section, hot tickets on the landing page, a rich text editor, audit functionality, a better search engine, and live metrics.
We’ve also added some exciting new features with the Q1 2023 release, including notifications for resolved tickets, the ability for users to rate and give feedback for resolved tickets, AI-powered ticket categorisation, and a public content management option for sharing news, guides, best practices, and notifications.
In addition, former employees with access to our Alumni solution can now use Helpdesk as a secure communication channel between themselves and Zalaris Support. We are always working to improve our solutions, and we are confident that our new Helpdesk will provide you with a better experience and help resolve your tickets more efficiently.
Alumni Solution: Streamline offboarding experience
In the Q1 2023 release, we are proud to introduce the Zalaris Alumni Solution – your one-stop-destination for accessing your personal and payroll data even after you’ve left the company! With a sleek design and user-friendly features, it has never been easier to stay connected with your employment history.
For employees, you will have remote access to your employment data at any time, whether you are still working or have moved on to new opportunities. Plus, our integrated Helpdesk is on hand to answer any questions you may have. You can communicate and get assistance from Zalaris support team via Helpdesk as it`s integrated withing the Alumni Solution.
We understand the importance of privacy, which is why our display screens hide sensitive information like your net pay when you are in public. And if you are re-hired or transferred to a new location, we have got you covered – your employment data will seamlessly transfer with you, with no hassle.
Employers also benefit from the Alumni Solution – reducing paperwork and streamlining HR processes while staying GDPR compliant. Plus, you will have a record of your former employees for potential re-hiring and access to their employment history for faster recruitment and onboarding.
