Shanto Menachery discusses how SAP continues to introduce useful improvements and innovations for both the end user and administrator. In this article he highlights the key changes introduced by SAP in this release, for example, development in the clock in / out area, with new functionalities like location capture and translation capabilities for time event types and other structures. He also draws attention to the progress within the Time Sheet UI, like automatic detection of latecomers, enhancements in allowance recording, timesheet display, and warning message types based on time collectors, to name a few.
Employee Central: Payroll
Julia Nowell updates us on the additions to the employee and user experience within EC Payroll. This includes some key changes to the accessibility of user forms and the Analytics Designer in the Payroll Control Centre. We also see a further natural evolution of the Employee Central Payroll product, as well as Integration / P2P Replication and country specific changes, demonstrating how with this release, SAP show their dedication to growing and innovating this product further to align with its highly successful SuccessFactors Employee Central product.
Compensation and Variable Pay
Vivian Chiha reveals how this 1H 2022 release focusses on bringing a lot more functionality and options for customers within the Reward & Recognition component of the Compensation module. The new features provide flexibility for customers to manage multiple types of recognition programs. The release also brings enhancements to the Compensation Templates and following on from the last release, SAP are continuing to enhance the Administration side of Compensation. Compensation has focussed heavily around improving and expanding on the Reward & Recognition functionality, which will allow many customers to re-assess the functionality as to whether it meets their needs and may result in moving away from other 3rd party solutions. The Wallet feature is one that brings a lot more flexibility and provides more of a purpose to the reward programs in place.
