The team from across the Zalaris Group work hard to produce the articles and associated blogs so hopefully you find the content useful, easy to consume and appreciate the authors’ own observations and insights gained from their customer-focused experiences.
The Q4 release marks the end of both the 2019 updates and Quarterly releases for SAP SuccessFactors. In 2020, they will move to biannual updates delivered in May and November.
Looking overall at 2019 I counted 814 changes which is almost identical to the 2018 total of 817. The top 3 areas of innovation are Employee Central (225 changes), Platform (166) and Recruiting Management (84). It is also notable that during 2019, the proportion of Universal changes increased to 64% from 53% in 2018.
Looking back at the number of changes in 2019 compared to 2018, we can see the areas with the greatest year on year increase in innovation. These are (in order of number of changes, most to least):

Â
At the top we see a healthy increase in Platform & Employee Central changes as well as Recruiting Posting as the Multiposting acquired products become more embedded in the SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite. I suspect Learning is bottom of this list due to the major work going into re-designing the Learning Admin experience and Recruiting Marketing is due to the fact that in mid-2018 there was a lot of updates related to Candidate Relationship Management (CRM).
