JOYNEXT is a globally active Tier 1 automotive supplier with a focus on infotainment, navigation, and electronics solutions for leading OEMs.
In the HR space, the company needed to modernise and streamline core processes in performance and compensation management. Before the project began, employee appraisals, performance reviews, and compensation rounds were largely manual. Hundreds of PDF forms and Excel files per cycle generated high administrative overhead, limited visibility, and restricted scalability. The objective was to simplify these processes, automate them end-to-end, and bring them in line with modern digital standards.

Role of Zalaris
Zalaris assisted JOYNEXT through the implementation of SAP SuccessFactors Performance Management and Compensation Management. The initial priority was delivering the Performance module on schedule, followed by the seamless rollout of Compensation.
Working closely with the JOYNEXT HR team, Zalaris analysed existing processes, defined requirements, and translated them into a fully system-supported solution. Particular attention was given to driving user adoption across managers and employees, and to ensuring clear process governance through system-side roadmaps, automated notifications, and robust reporting.
Through close collaboration, hands-on training, and disciplined project delivery, both modules went live on time.
Outcomes achieved
- With the new system landscape in place, JOYNEXT significantly reduced the administrative burden across its performance and compensation cycles.
- End-to-end digitalisation has introduced clear ownership, transparent status tracking, and greatly improved traceability across all process steps. Both managers and HR teams now benefit from visual dashboards and system-driven calibration sessions that previously depended on manual effort and external tools.
- User adoption is strong across employees, managers, and HR alike. Content is accessible at any time, transitions during organisational changes are handled smoothly, and HR has achieved measurable efficiency gains across these processes.
With the introduction of Performance and Compensation Management in SAP SuccessFactors, we have taken a significant step forward. What previously required countless Excel files and manual effort now runs centrally, transparently, and efficiently. The collaboration with Zalaris was professional, partnership-based, and solutions-focused at every stage.
