Zalaris has delivered outsourced payroll services based on SAP Payroll to GlaxoSmithKline’s approximately 4000 employees in Germany since 2011. The agreement has been extended to also include coverage of GlaxoSmithKline’s Austrian operations, with a scheduled start-up of services to GlaxoSmithKline’s approximately 130 employees and pensioners in the autumn of 2020.

Even though this is a small contract commercially, it is an important contract for Zalaris in showcasing our capability in delivering a multi-country payroll. With our solutions we offer both DACH and European Payroll, which includes support for all relevant processes, such as time registration and travel expense processing. This allows customers to operate their regional or European employee base in one common system solution, which is supported by fully digitalised mobile and portal-based processes, typically reducing cost with 20-30% compared to when operating in house” – says Harald Goetsch, Executive VP and responsible for Zalaris’ Central European Operations.
